Dr Wong Jen San has over 15 years of experience treating hernia, in particular minimally-invasive (laparoscopic) surgery, to deliver outcomes that are more precise and less risky, with minimal scarring and discomfort.
Dr Wong first obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Leicester, and continued to receive his early surgical training in the United Kingdom. He subsequently completed his Advanced Specialty Training in General Surgery at Singapore General Hospital, obtaining the FRCS (Edinburgh) and FAMS (General Surgery).
Dr Wong then completed his HMDP Clinical Fellowship at Kyoto University Hospital and Kumamoto University Hospital in Japan. His clinical interests include general surgery with expertise in hernia repair procedures using open or laparoscopic techniques.
